Down-to-earth story of one man's wartime experience as fresh-faced kid who learns about life in the war
1 of 1 found this helpful It is written in the 3rd person and about Horace's pre-war time at home with his siblings and then during the war and post war - it is more interesting and well written than I first thought and I cannot now put it down! The way it is written is gripping and how I heard about it was through a work connection; it really is a good read !
