The Great Big Book of Families

NOPE, Not for pre teens.

I bought it so I would know what the kerfuffle was all about. This book is obviously written for early school readers. The book opens up a lot more questions then it answers. Concepts early readers are not thinking about and are ill prepared to comprehend. If your child asks? Answer the question as you see fit. In my opinion this book will foster gender dysphoria and is unsuitable at minimum for kids under 13 years of age.

So Far So Good

Only needed two- Both took charges and seem to be holding up well during normal usage. At a couple bucks a piece I'm way ahead.

Gritty Graphic Not for Young Children.

These books are graphic in telling the story the Holocaust and what lead up to it. If you think your child is prepared for such horrifying subject matter, be my guest. My children are all adults now but if they weren't, I would not allow them to read MAUS I or MAUS II until they were high school students. I would be sure to talk to them about what their thoughts on what they read were.
