Item arrived on time and mostly intact minus the cosmetic wear and tear from being used(managed to fix that myself with help from Athearn). It was packaged well and as described. Aside from the need to fix the cosmetic discrepancies myself after buying it, I’d say it’s good value for the money for anyone collecting model steam locomotives in HO Scale.

No Higher Honor : Saving the USS Samuel B. Roberts in the Persian Gulf by...

TO SEE THE DAWN
The title of my review is "To See the Dawn", because that is what the crew of the USS Samuel B. Roberts fought through the night of April 14, 1988. On April 14, 1988 the USS Samuel B. Roberts was escorting a Kuwaiti tanker in the Persian Gulf when it hit a mine. The explosion lifted the Ship out of the water, the keel of the ship was bent since the stress of the impact was more than it could handle. The shock ripple through the ship, cooling water was dumped into a radar equipment cabinet, the ship's photocopier was broken, even the sneeze guard on the salad bar in the crew's mess ( eating place) was shattered. Through out the night the crew of the USS Samuel B. Roberts fought to save their ships, controlling flowing putting out fires. Bradley Peniston does an excellent job in this book depicting the will and courage of the crew to save their ship. On the morning of April 15, 1988, the Quarter Master of the watch, QM2 Nicholoson made an entry into the deck log that exemplified the crew's will to survive; "0503, Observed Sunrise".
On Saturday April 16, 1988 Middle East Force (MEF) RADM Less began assembling the heads of his combat groups in preparation for a retaliatory strike against Iran for the mining of the Samuel B. Roberts. US intelligence knew Iran was responsible for laying the mine that damaged the Samuel B. Roberts. In September 1987 during Operation Prime Chance, US Forces tracked Iran Ajr and dispatched army helicopters from the Navy guided missile frigate USS Jarrett to shadow it. When it was discovered that Ajr was laying mines, it was ordered to stop, helicopters fired on the ship, killing some of the mariners and chasing others into the water. Later Navy SEAL Commandos boarded the ship, confirmed the presence of mines and detained the surviving Iranians. On April 14, 1988, after the USS Samuel B. Roberts was towed from the Persian Gulf, minesweepers moved in, recovered mine fragments with serial numbers and were able to link them to the Iranian ship Ajr.
On Sunday April 17, 1988 at 10:00pm Washington time, President Reagan signed the executive order to carry out Operation “Praying Mantis”, the retaliatory strike against Iran. In the Persian Gulf it was 5:00am. In the chapter titled “Revenge” Peniston does a superb job depicting in detail how the three Surface Action Groups (SAGs) along with air support from the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise executed a successful strike against Iran. When the sun set in the Persian Gulf on Monday April 18, 1988 a significant Naval engagement had taken place. No since World War II had there been a naval engagement of such magnitude.
Overall “No Higher Honor” is a very good book, fast paced, will keep you engaged. It is a book that you will never forget.

A timeless Classic
This is a very timeless classic CD. The music is very soothing and perfect to listen to on that drive home as you unwind from a days work. Many would label it "elevator music", however it is a very nice CD. The track are well put together, evident of Joe Harnell's musical talent.
