Charlaine is amazing

Charlaine does for vampire tales what Evanovich has done for bounty hunter mysteries: She's made a comedy, thriller, mystery that many imitate, but none can duplicate. Add a dash of romance, minus the syrup, and you have Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse series. Harris has colorful characters, from a werewolf to a vampire who may just be elvis. My husband, mom and aunt all read these and are itchin for the next in the series
