Fuji S9100
5 of 5 found this helpful My first venture in to a "bridge" camera like this and I have to say that I am very pleased. Had a friend who spoke highly of the S9000 with only a few minor complaints, which apparently have been taken care of in this version. For the cost of one of my film lenses, I was able to get this camera...very reasonable. I needed a relatively wide angle and 28-300 fits it. Excellent clarity from the lens and works well up to 800 iso. I'm just an amature, so you won't get anything technical from me. Great camera for the price.

Good value for Black Rapid.
The strap works well for a small DSLR. Easy to connect to tripod socket. The one problem is that the strap is too long and difficult to adjust short enough form my wife. We had to get creative with it.

My New Favorite!
1 of 1 found this helpful This is my new favorite lens, and I have quite a few to choose from. I believe this is the perfect portrait lens and I've also seen excellent examples of it's ability at landscapes. It has excellent bokeh at wide apertures and very sharp when stopping down. I was impressed with the size and feel of this lens as well. Of course there are debates concerning this lens and the 85mm 1.4 lens. If you can afford to pay three times as much for a 85mm 1.4, then you should do it. But, I believe this will satisfy most needs, especially for those on a budget. And if you don't like it, you can sell it here because it maintains 75-95% of it's value.
