Absolutely not wood.
Absolutely not wood. Seems to be some kind of hi-temp resin or plastic. Broke within the first week of use. The piece where the mouthpiece connects snapped off when attempting to open for cleaning. Do not recommend as anything more then a costume piece perhaps.

Strong enough for just about any use!
I love these bags! I purchased them for sorting coins and they are strong enough for the tasks. The smallest ones are great for tea bags but all of them are strong enough to handle a full load of coins without any worry of the seams busting. I want more too!
