Compact & good design but unable to get the unit to function properly.
2 of 3 found this helpful I purchased this HD vehicle camera as a replacement for a different model, which had been melted in my vehicle thanks to the extremely high temperatures in Central Queensland during this summer.
I found the instructions difficult to follow due to the broken English used or perhaps just the poor translation from whatever Asian language was used by the manufacturer. There were symbols on the screen that had no corresponding description in the instructions, therefore I was unable to determine their purpose or what setting they required. There was no standard or preferred settings provided in the instructions for each menu item in the set-up process. The screen locked several times during set-up and the unit had to be turned off & back on to reboot. Sometimes this wouldn't work and the micro sim had to be removed, the unit switched off & then back on after a few minutes & the micro sim re-inserted before the Menu button would actually work.
Once the set-up was complete, I fitted the unit to my vehicle windscreen and it came on with the ignition as expected & began recording, however after less than 1min the screen went black & the red recording light locked on & the recording counter stopped. I switched the unit off & on again to reboot, but the same error occurred (this happened several times). I was unable to access the Menu as no matter how many times or how long I pressed the Menu button, the Menu wouldn't come up on the screen. For the short time the unit was recording, I observed that the infra-red was less effective than the previous camera I had in my vehicle and the vision was quite dark (even with full street lighting on a major street).
I'm quite disappointed with this unit & have since ordered a different type of vehicle camera to try instead.

Set and Forget Dash Cam
Easy to set up, clear screen, starts and stops with the ignition, thin and light weight with all the necessary accessories. Metal casing won't melt or warp when left inside your parked car on a hot Central Qld summer day like a plastic one can. Although the heat can effect its operation, so place in the shade during summer when the car is parked and all closed up. Its cheap, so you get what you pay for.

Gentle cleanser for sensitive skin.
I love this product and most other Aveeno products. I just wish it was still stocked by my local Priceline Pharmacy and Chemist Warehouse as they were cheaper by about $5.
