Excellent Interface
The Original White Face Focusrite Saffire is an excellent 2 channel firewire interface. Only the Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 DSP is superior to this model. The preamps have the focusrite sound and it comes with EQ and Compression (and Guitar Amp Simulation) built in. It has enough analog outputs for a 5.1 Surround Sound setup. It can be powered by the Firewire interface (6 pin only). Driver installation automatically updated firmware. Interface worked flawlessly on a MAC and PC.
