Great Control - but no instructions so use You Tube video
This was second fan in our home that needed the conversion after years of service. The light would not respond to the original IT controls. The you-tube video is very good regarding the install. It doesn't address the DIP switches on the side at all and doesn't go through the new synchronization procedure. If you have more than one of the IT3 units, the DIP switch settings need to be different or they won't work independently. So install the second with one or more of the DIP switches in the OFF position. Once installed you need to press FAN & REVERSE simultaneously for a second so that the fan and switch synchronize with each other. Then it works great. I had to email Casablanca help to find this out but their response was fast.
