Brillent Interpretation of an old favourite
Matthew Bourne is a geneous; this vision of Swan Lake is electric; choreographed to transport you into another world of strength, beauty & musculinity which excites. This translation vividly wipes away the stero type of serene swans floating across the stage and we are drawn to the strength and muscular male dancers, which can be beautiful & then terrifying as you witness the closing scenes.
The dancing accentuates Tchaikovskys' incredible score. As I could only get an older region 4 used DVD, the format is small and this copy had a couple of sound issues. Never the less I LOVE THIS BALLET

Well worth the listen ... Memories
Freddies' last album before his death. The words of some of these songs seem to explain a little of what he wanted fans to understand. So many years later they still resonate. Queen has gone on but never quite the same without Freddie & John. Great to replace my old worn out collection.

Recorded on Queens last tour Freddie is at his best, giving it his all. The band really rocks it out.
