Shame! Larmor didn’t get this one right.
I’d have liked to give this product a better rating, but -
On my O-MD E-M1X I can’t close the screen (in it’s reversed, protective position - with back of screen facing out) with the protector fitted as the glass is too thick to allow the screen to close, and there is a definite risk of straining the hinge. The only way this screen protector can be used is by leaving the screen facing out all the time, which is far from ideal.
The protector is of excellent quality and fits perfectly. It’s thick, which is great for protection, but bad for the camera as you can’t fold the screen away (screen facing in) with it fitted. Somebody at Larmor failed to do their homework when developing this product.
I assume this issue will also affect the EM1’s as well as the X, as it’s the same screen and hinge, or maybe there’s just less clearance on the X
