The Right Radio for the Money
This is a by far a super great radio. I like the fact that it has 500 channels and each memory bank there is one dedicated Priority channel. With that you can enter your favorite frequencies in these Priority channels and select a "monitoring" channel and you still can listen to your favorite stuff without having it on scan.
I personally like this radio and with two AA rechargeable batteries, it can last about 10 hours between charging. It is so easy to program. The free software from Uniden is not that hard to figure out.
I recomend this radio because of the price, size, several set Priority channels. And ease of programming.
As they say, come one, come all or it will get gone. There are more radios out there like this one but the 125AT by far is a very easy radio to operate and program and listen to.
Enjoy if you have one. If not, then I gave this radio 5 stars because it's a good unit and recives quite well.
I don't write reviews hardly any but I thought I would here.
BC125AT is I think the radio of choice because of it being easy to "play" with and use. Go out and order one. I did and I enjoy it a lot better than my wife...well not that much. A very good radio for the price.

A Good Radio for the size
1 of 1 found this helpful This radio is a great radio for its size and easy to use. Has good reception. Software is not hard to figure out either, rather simple and straightforward. If any other Ham that is in a market for a small but good radio for the price then the TR-590 is a good choice.

The right size and a great robust realistic sound.
It's a blast and lots of fun. Smiles goes a long way and this does that very well.
As the saying goes...let er rip!
