McCann E400397 Big Mac Carbonator Soda Fountain Pump Refurbished Unit
22 March 2020
Challenging set-up but worth the work!
Still early to review, but this product seemed to have been thoroughly refurbished and so far works well. I was unfamiliar with the pieces/parts required for the plumbing of a soda fountain carbonator so that took some trail-and-error of parts, but the hoses/clamps/SS fittings were not that expensive. Understand when you buy a carbonator, the hoses/fittings/CO2 tank, etc, are separate purchases and add another $100 to the price tag to have a functioning dispensary for seltzer water. Still, this device adds large measure of convenience to having seltzer water at any time, has high set-up costs but very low usage cost after that, and does not render waste like Soda-stream cartridges ($) or plastic bottles for return or recycle. You can flavor as desired in the glass and add ice to get very close to store-bought seltzer without all the hassle of shopping and recycling. So far, I would do it again.

JEEP LIBERTY LIMITED CRD (DIESEL) 2006
I love my CRD Liberty. It turns on a dime, has a nice ride, comfortable on the inside with excellent all-around visibility. The diesel is great, I haul my little trailer around all the time to the dump, or to pick up wood pellets, etc. Of course I wish the mileage were better (goes 21-27), but I think that would be a universal complaint at this point. The OEM summer tires produce better mileage than do my winters (of course). I have hit 28 MPG on the highway but that is rare. It has dipped to 18 hauling a trailer, or in middle of bad conditions, slow, in PT 4WD and winter tires. It tracks very well in adverse driving conditions (snow, etc, in part-time 4WD); I routinely pass people in tenuous conditions with full confidence.
Only reliability issue has been a wiring harness/sensor for the ABS. That has been problematic when switching back and forth in the winter between RWD and PT4WD. It has gone out 2 winters in a row, but has so far been covered under warranty. I am awaiting a replacement wiring harness and we'll see if that takes care of it. I was told it was a corrosion problem with the harness. When that goes out it takes the ABS, traction control, ESP, and cruise control with it, and is bothersome. But that has been the only problem I have had, and otherwise I love my CRD, and would do it again.
