Not standard tarot SUPERIOR
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been trying to memorize the tarot and the 78 cards for 30 years and still don't know what the cards mean. I always rely on the book for help. This deck has only 36 cards. I looked at the one word meaning and the card and went through the whole deck. The next time I picked up the cards I had remembered at least 27 of the cards.
Tarot mostly goes by the celtic cross but with divination cards it really has to do with the reader and their intuition far more than the cards themselves. I highly recommend these cards. I can't wait to find my ideal spread and what the future may hold. No matter what. I will at least have the cards memorized. :-)

Need to be an experienced Tarot card reader
1 of 1 found this helpful I can look at most of the major arcana and figure out which they are but they aren't numbered like the rest of the cards. The pictures don't seem to have anything to do with anything, just pictures of ladies. I have decided to use them for something else but as tarot reading cards I find them useless.
The tiny booklet that explains the cards and how to do the spread is all in Chinese and unless you know how to read Chinese the booklet is useless.

Not for little kids OR adults
I purchased this game because I love a mystery. I didn't really expect a miracle with the game, I mean a msytery game would obviously have some limitations compared to other games, but I had hoped for better.
I started playing the game and knew immediately I had wasted my money. It was so simple my 6 year old could figure it out. Unfortunately, my 6 year old couldn't play the game because it requires a more advanced reading level than he has at this time. Many games have the words and the characters say the same thing...not this game. You HAVE to be able to read well to play it. So that ruled the game out for him. :-(
I went ahead and played it anyway. I mean I paid for it right? I realized pretty quickly that it does get more difficult as you advance up the levels but that didn't make the game any better. And as far as a young child playing it, the advanced levels and amount of reading needed to eliminate suspects is just too much.
On top of all of this I beat the game in just a few hours.
If you want a game that requires thought, will last for days or even weeks with something new every time you play the game, purchase Lego Harry Potter.
