Junk roto gear
2 of 3 found this helpful I've gone through two on two different vehicles using it properly if I had a CNC or mill I know I can do better. both of them that have given out are the LITTLE STUPID GEAR the rest of it its sound. where you put the Roto starter in has broke on both. same spot splits n shatters. using better metal would solve this or go with a hex head, the notched out area makez for a easy break point. $$$ is probably why this is done corporate greed. The little gear just explodes or tears off one side. Truly makes it interesting when starting a rc that's sat for awhile
The last one just broke one side off so luckily it locks in a socket pretty well n i just turn back the torque on the drill so if it gets flooded or binds it doesn't break anything more
P.s. ebay has one that offers this in a pull/drill start with a hex head. spend the extra 6 bucks just my opinion.
