Perfect, just like you'd expect from a Hudy tool
Excellent quality just like every Hudy tool I own. I keep two sets of Hudy hand tools, one for my race kit, one for my home workbench. I only use these on my home bench if I'm building a new car or doing extensive rebuild work on a car. Used in conjunction with my Skil rechargeable driver. I knew from prior experience, but CAUTION must be exercised to keep from stripping out a screw hole in plastic parts. A gentle touch goes a long way. Wish Hudy offered a 1.5mm tip!

Reasonably "scale" offering nicely rendered.
I purchased this kit specifically to build it into a 1/32 scale slot car for an event. For slot cars longer and/or wider confers a performance advantage so the rules are, traditionally, that the model must be within +/- 5% of being 1/32 of the full-size car's dimension. The "challenge" I found was that the Arii model is almost 1/8" over "scale" width across the fenders. The difference was about 6% sowould not have passed traditional rules. Fortunately the event I'm building for stated a +/- 1/8" (4" in scale) tolerance so I'll JUST squeak by.
This Arii kit is accurate in length and has MUCH more accurately shaped windows and roof profile than the Airfix Beetle (mid-60's) model does. It is a better looking body shell overall than the Airfix. The "split window" can be relatively easily changed to create the later "oval window" car by removing the vertical bar. The window piece does not engage into the opening so the window doesn't have a relief to engage that bar. This is FAR easier than modifying the Airfix kit to reflect either of these iconic '50's era Beetles.
All-in-all a neat little kit. As much effort as goes into creating something like this it's too bad they couldn't get the width right. They had the power in their hands when they did it, so I'll deduct a star for not taking care of business.

Purchased for a crawler build
Not using for the intended purpose, they are installed on the rear of my GCM Skeleton crawler build. Purchased because they're the appropriate length, not for any perceived performance advantage.
