When it works, it's great! It never really worked on my laptop.
0 of 1 found this helpful My IT person has installed Dragon at work but after several attempts including uninstalling and reinstalling it, he could not make it work on my laptop. Best Buy Geek Squad, who also sells Dragon, tried unsuccessfully for several weeks to make Dragon work properly on my laptop. It would only dictate into a dictation box, requiring me to continually cut and paste as needed. I made two phone calls to Nuance, and I was told that because this is a "mature" (meaning older version) I would need to pay an additional $20 for technical assistance. The seller also called and was surprised to learn this. After three weeks of struggling to make Dragon work on my laptop with Windows 7, I gave up and I am returning it tomorrow. Apparently the seller will not be able to re-sell this product, however, if free technical support does not come with a newly purchased Dragon perhaps he should not sell it. And, Nuance should stand behind their product. Is this negative review really worth their not helping me to make Dragon work on my laptop after numerous ITs were unable to do so?
