A sonic inspiration for songwriters and guitar players.
This is a great pedal for recording music. It sounds very crisp, clear and bright when used in the digital recording environment. It definitely provides a great way to thicken up or add a bit of sparkle to a guitar's sound. The four controls are highly responsive and offer a vast range of tones. The modes are also very distinct and extremely usable in adding variety to your guitar sound. Although it may introduce some noise whilst recording, this can be easily eradicated by turning the Level control down and your guitar's volume up. There is definitely a volume drop when the pedal is engaged, however, with the aid of a clean boost pedal, this issue is easily addressed. Like many other Boss pedals, I consider this a great addition to my effects pedal board arsenal.
