Fiddly to use, and some shapes / sizes of pill will defeat it. When this is not an issue, it works well, although it seems pretty fragile and i can't see it lasting too long.
3m Long Firewire 800 to 800 9 Pin Cable Male IEEE1394B PC Mac DV OUT CAMCORDER

Works with Hasselblad H4D
I bought this as an alternative to a FAR more expensive (and hard to obtain) camera tether cable from a well-known firm in the US - at under £4 it was less than a tenth of their price, so I figured it may not work properly, but worth a try. But work it does! The power comes up for the camera (a digital Hasselblad!) and the data flows right back down without a hitch. I'd say save yourself $40 (plus $30 postage!) and go with this cable, maybe even get 2 to have a spare! No problems to report so far; perhaps it may be a tad slower than the orange one from the states.. I have no way to be sure.. but it sure does the job. Just great.
walimex WT-628 Extension Pole with 2 Sledges

A really unique, unusual and useful item! Beautifully made and very versatile.
This is a really unusual and useful item! I've just made a large timber studio stand and was wondering how to make the cross arm - and along came the Wallimex Extension Pole, which I first saw on YouTube, and solved the problem at a stroke! I was really surprised to be able to get one in the UK!
The quality is excellent - it's beautifully made, runs smoothly and easily and is plenty tough enough for purpose. The build quality is as good as my £400 Manfrotto! The clamps are sturdy, and keep my Canon 5DS, a 70-200mm lens, and its Manfrotto pan & tilt head firmly in place at any angle. Having two camera sledges is a great bonus, and the re-positionable clamp handles were a nice surprise! A real quality touch, and without the high price!
My purpose might be a bit unusual, as the pole is probably intended for use on a tripod or copy stand - but it works so well on my home-made 2 metre stand, that it's worth the mention. It's transformed a DIY item into a really pro piece of kit! I can now lift 2 cameras simultaneously from floor to ceiling height in a flash, and adjust them as I need instantly. In a word - delighted!
