Good Carrier-Independent Phon)

I've always preferred the Google Nexus series of phones, because they are designed to be carrier agnostic which for me provides two advantages - a) no bloatware loaded on by a carrier, and b) a greater spectrum of frequencies and bands on which the phone operates. (Many phones sold by specific carriers are often 'tuned' to operate primarily on the carrier's frequencies, thereby sometimes making them less effective if moved to a carrier that uses other frequencies.) Since I travel internationally, I wanted a phone that I could use with local in-country SIM cards with the broadest frequency reach, and the Nexus phones have always delivered. The Nexus 5 replaced my Nexus 4, and I upgraded because the Nexus 5 is 4G LTE compatable on many frequencies, whereas the Nexus 4 is a 3G phone. The phone has met all my expectations - good reception, excellent camera, adequate memory, fully featured. The only downside is the marginal battery life - seems to use up a lot of battery if running a lot of applications or if it has many of the features like wi-fi and Bluetooth turned on - which means that it is good to carry a charger and to get into the habit of keeping it charged. (Since the battery is sealed inside, there is no way to replace the existing battery with a long life one. One other advantage (at least to me) is that Google tends to release updates and upgrades to the Android operating system early in the cycle to Nexus users. I am currently running Android 6.0 and it runs just fine. Phone is not a gimmicky phone - has everything I need in a reasonably sized package. Very happy with it.

Great Little Product!

These little garage door openers are awesome. Very easy to program with the red button on the garage door opener. Having the garage door opener as a keychain, rather than as a unit that remains in the car, is great, because when the car is parked, the means to open the garage door is removed from the car. I had an old in-car opener control that was getting old and chose to replace it with these, and I am very pleased with that decision. This is a good product at a good price.

Good Product - Does The Job...

Nice and simple yet functional. My Essential phone fits snugly into the holster. The built-in stand works fine, allowing the phone to be positioned either horizontally or vertically when the stand is in use. Good value for the price.
