Great model to teach kids about how engines work

I made one of these myself as a kid and was excited to make one with my son. We had a great time putting it together. They have simplified the kit somewhat compared to the one I assembled as a kid(removed lights and battery operated starter motor that would turn the engine at the push of a button). I do miss the light up effect, but it's still a very enjoyable kit and one of the best ways to teach a kid how engines work. I would highly recommend it...
