It does not retract very well, luckily i wont have to use it much. But i do like its compact size and love the size of the hose nice and flexible

Don't waste your money
Made of very flimsy aluminum extrusion. Instructions are difficult to understand, many steps are missing. Assembly was simple enough, but it was extremely difficult to attach to the wall with the brackets supplied. Did eventually get it attached to the wall. Looked ok for a few minutes, when we decided to wind it out from the wall, the arms would not slide along a groove in the front bar. As I was winding the gear handle to extend the unit, the front aliminium bar gave way as the metal slides jammed into the grooves, rendering the whole unit usless.
