Best Movie About Yankees Baseball
If you lived in New York in the late 70s you know this movie was spot on. 1977 was a troubled year in New York City. It was an election year and with David Berkowitz aka Son Of Sam killing people, the blackout, the looting, the fires and the garbage strike going on, The New York Yankees was a great distraction. Their year mirrored what was happening in the city and in the end they were world champs. Just like the people of New York, what doesn't kill them only makes them stronger.
The "Bronx Is Burning" was fantastic! The acting was great and they looked like the characters they were playing. If you're a Yankee Fan and or was a New Yorker you have to see this film and even if you're not you'll love it, highly entertaining.
