Nice show, janky subtitles
EBay seems like a terrible place for reviewing the show itself, because there are tons of sites dedicated specifically to reviewing asian dramas. So I'll stick to the product itself. There aren't any "extras" or special content. There are 9 episodes on 3 disks. The box text mentions "13 wines", but that applies to the manga version. The TV show shortens the action to 6 "apostles", plus the "Drops of God" wine. I haven't read the story, so I didn't miss the omitted wines.
The quality of the disks is fine, and they play in a western player without any problem. The box is also really nice - it's a four-panel fold-out with a tray for each disk. The disk maker added their own logo into the first few minutes of each disk, probably as an anti-pirating measure. There's also a big blazing fireball that goes across the top of the screen, which would be really hard for pirates to edit out. It's only a small bit at the beginning of each disk though, so it's not too bad.
There are subtitles for 2 kinds of Chinese, English, and Malay. And this is where things go somewhat off the rails. The English subtitles are pretty bad in places. Not just bad writing, but inaccurate translation, bad grammar, and omitted dialog. Pronouns often have the gender wrong (he vs. she) which is confusing, but easy enough to figure out. It's not consistently terrible either. You can tell when the job switched from one person to another. They'll be decent, then terrible for a while, then decent again. One translator will translate the word for "apostle", the next one will leave it untranslated in Japanese, etc. It's basically the same issue with all Malay export dramas, not just this show. The English translation is always going to be very spotty.
It really comes down to whether you want to put up with that. It's really the only way to see the show. So if you want to see it, you just have to suck it up. If you can understand Japanese enough to pick out the names, and know a few basic words, you can probably have a decent experience.
