Haynes manuals are easy to read and understand, especially for the person who lacks experience. Well set out and full of helpful information

Beautiful book with excellent instructions and interesting information
An excellent book that gives all the information that you need for cooking including different foods and methods of cooking from your traditional roasts to Asian and other cultural influences. Lovely photos and easy to understand instructions which are referenced to appropriate sections in the book. Although it is used in schools as a textbook it looks nothing like a textbook. I plan to buy a copy for each of my children as they leave home. Would make a lovely present!
