Premium Quality Raspberry Pi 3 / 2 B+ Case / Box / Enclosure + Fan Cooling
31 May 2017
Mostly OK, but with some issues
The screws supplied are barely long enough to reach through the fan on their own, let alone though the case. I cannot fix the fan to the enclosure with the enclosed screws and nuts, and will need to find longer screws.
Quad LOCK Bike Mount Kit Universal Bike Kit Mountain Bike Quadlock

Excellent mount. Great quality and solidly holds phone
I liked this product as they supply everything you need to mount it, with extra pieces to accomodate different styles of mounting. I was originally skeptical of the price for a few bits of plastic but after inspecting them myself they appear very well constructed and heavy duty.
Nelson Rigg 917-117 CL-1040 Jumbo Tail Bag

A great tail bag, but be aware of the extra work over a box
I bought this bag because to get a bracket and tail box fitted to my Yamaha MT-07 was going to cost me the best part of $500, for a paltry 3kg carry capacity. This solution was less than half that, but it certainly does come with some compromises. I'll start with the negatives first: 1/. Taking off and putting this bag on your bike will take you a few minutes. The straps are more than strong enough to be tightened right up for a snug and secure fit, but you'll be looking for somewhere to hide the extra material strap that you don't need. When I get more familiar with the system I'll probably cut the straps to a more suitable length. 2/. With the bag installed, you just can't get to the storage compartment under the passenger seat. Fair enough - the tiny compartment is the reason I bought the bag in the first place. But my toolkit and battery charger lead are in there so I will have to get into there from time to time, leading to 10 minutes of removing the bag and replacing it when I'm done. 3/. The straps don't stay tight for long. I think it might be something to do with the angle they're at when installed on my bike, but the two frontmost straps will loosen in time, necessitating adjustment every so often. I wonder if I can replace these straps with something else. 4/. The bag on its own isn't waterproof. I haven't used the waterproof cover yet although I've heard it doesn't stay on the bag very well. I think some kind of waterproofing spray will help to give it a basic amount of water resistance.. Now the positives: 1/. This bag is massive, and every compartment expands via a zip. The main compartment easily holds my helmet. 2/. The shoulder strap is useful. I even rode the bike with the bag over my shoulder when I couldn't be bothered to reattach it to the bike. 3/. As long as everything's snug, you can load this thing with as much weight as you want. I reckon I could easily pack enough for a weekend away. 4/. Quite a few compartments allowing for organisation. Recommended, but be aware of the extra work this bag requires over a tail box.
