It works, but it's basic...

Opening the box the unit comes well packaged and appears good value for money. The unit itself is light, and pumps out a surprising amount of heat. It is a very dry heat though, rather than a radiant heat: a bit like a hot wind. Installation was a bit of a bother. I mounted it to a wall, but I think the instructions were a bit off in terms of spacing. I recommend using a bit of cardboard (perhaps the packaging), and marking out the spacing based on back the unit (punching holes in the cardboard corresponding based on where the holes are on the back of the unit), and then using that stencil to mark the wall. Be sure to adhere to the spacing requirements (distance from floor, walls, etc.), which should have been advertised as they are a bit restrictive. What is really missing though is a variable fan speed. It's either on, or off. Even if it only had two fans speeds, that would be an improvement.

Arrived as expected. Only downside was that the boxes in the packaged were quite badly damaged in transit. Didn't affect the strips though.

Good value.
