Charger is temperamental about phone placement
3 of 4 found this helpful This stand does not work quite right with the Galaxy S7. If you first attempt to stand the phone up straight it will never come on. This happens cover or no cover. I looked at the battery position in an online picture and here is what will work. With the phone standing up, if I rotate it counter clockwise and lay the phone on it, the charger works fine every time. I am not an engineer but if I then turn the phone back to standing up, it will continue on charging. I really don't know why this works but it does. Regardless it does not work quite like it should. I bought Samsung expecting it to work exactly as designed. I wish I had purchased a different charger. It does charge fast and otherwise works fine
