Lightweight yes, Suction to powerful.
This hoover is great and lightweight to carry, but you need muscle's of steel to push on carpets as the vacuum is so powerful, some people say this is a good thing as you pick up most items in the carpet pile, but any items sat on the carpet just get pushed around as the hoover has not clearance to allow anything under it into the roller, and if you choose to hoover a vinyl or laminate floor forget it, the vacuum sticks the hoover to the spot. Glad I got this item at a low price as a refurbished unit otherwise I would of returned.
