Shure Rocks! Not just a bass drum mic!
1 of 1 found this helpful Soon as I mic’d up the Beta 52a on my Pearl Reference 16 & 18 floor toms I knew I found what I’ve been looking for.
A Sm57 would get the job done but if you’re wanting a pro standout sound with noticeable difference with chest pounding lows. You can pickup a like new used Beta 52a for around $110 all day long and won’t regret it. Give it a try!
