my wife loves michael.
would have to bow to the wifes judgement on this, she says it is up to his normal high standard. not quite my thing but did see him live at an outdoor concert in the summer and quite enjoyed it. she would also run away with him tomorrow if he asked so we can all live in hope. but seriously if you are a michael fan you will like this.

a bit disappointing
i have probably been a bit unfair with rating this album. i am using the yardstick of the brilliant 'Back at the DHSS' and Back again at the DHSS' this in comparison is more folk than rock and less of the humour that first attracted me to HMHB. it is one for existing fans and lovers of folk, still with tongue in cheek.

biscuit at their best [almost]
i didnt think that half man half biscuit could ever equal the brilliance of 'back at the DHSS' but on this album came oh so close. some tracks are different versions of tracks from 'back at the DHSS' but with the added class of tracks like 'The Len Ganley stance'as well as the old favourites it is well worth a listen. my second favourite HMHB album, but only just.
