The Original And The Best
Until you've heard Carl Sagan pronounce; "figure it out" and "books", you haven't truly enjoyed the English language.
One or two notions which haven't stood the test of time, but who cares when you can immerse yourself with something of this quality. Right up there with The Ascent Of Man and Civilisation.

An eccentric host for an eccentric country.
Simon Schama could read out the phone book and I'd avidly watch. Quirky and unable to stand still, he is as entertaining as he is inciteful. As engaging as he is intellectual.
Practically nothing on Richard III, but that minor gripe aside, I'll be watching this over and over again.

Breathtaking.
