The TV show that introduced us, Samurais and Ninjas. A children show back in the mid 60s that swept the Australian nation.
Season 9 Shintaro the samurai once again faces a new foe. Genshin the Puppet Master. While dealing with Genshin he is being pursued by Kongo of Koga, who is out to kill him. Another, story of good vs evil, but its a lot more. Unlike many shows Shintaro demonstrates that one can be a very strong and being gentle and kind too. He also provides opportunity for those who have fallen into evil, an opportunity to change and live a peaceful lives. Ideal children show.

Shintaro, a hero with rarely seen virtues. Not your normal smash and pound.
Rewatching the series brings back childhood memories and the enjoyment from those days. The product itself is in B&W of high quality of the times. Simple stories of good vs evil, underlying messages of being good strong person but also to be kind. Something that is severely lacking these days in all children shows with similiar themes. Especially kindness even towards enemies, a chance to redirect their lives.
I would love to see a colourized version of the series, as the costumes used were colourful. I hope to have more opportunities to see the rest of the series.
