Excellent replacement for nylon deck loops
I bought these to replace broken nylon deck loops on my Costco kayak. The hole spacing was off a little bit (I didn't expect that it would match perfectly,) but a slight squeeze in a vice made them align. The metal is attractive, with no sharp edges, and I'm sure it will last much longer than the nylon loops.

Very good inline cable adjuster + quick release
Like most Shimano products, this cable quick release/adjuster is meticulously designed and seems to be robustly built. I bought it because my 35C tires won't clear the caliper brake pads when I'm removing the wheel. The QR function gives me enough clearance. My only complaint is that I still have to use the QRs on my Campy brake levers and the brake caliper to have sufficient clearance. It's not like I'm using a freakishly large tire for the rim width, but it seems that the QR was designed to allow you to use, say 25mm tires instead of 23mm.
