Not quite pure.
I only have one caution. Though the ad states it is 24k and 99% pure, I tested a sample and found it contained a high content of copper. I used nitric acid which should not of reacted to the foil if it was 24k 99%pure, but instead produced nitric dioxide which indicates copper. It still a great product for gilding especially if you want a quick and inexpensive way to do it.

Great Ipad
Purchased this for my 85 yr old mom so she could skype with my Brothers and sisters scattered throughout the US. The Unit works flawlessly and really looks better than mine that I purchased three years ago. The only issue is teaching a 85 yr old how to use it.
