Skullcandy Sound Lowrider On-Ear Stereo Headphones w/Mic (Black)

A Perfect Fit for My Comfort Zone!
First off, I am not an expert on headphones, so don't expect technical information, or brand specs, or anything else that would indicate that I either know what I am talking about, or have the packaging in front of me. Instead, let me tell you a little story. I sell things on eBay. I often like to set up at the local library and spend the day listing books and playing games,... some days, more of one and less of the other! Unfortunately, I had no headphones, so everything was on mute. I thought,... gee! Wouldn't it be nice to have headphones and I could listen to music while I worked! But I had no idea what was out there and all of the technical information was meaningless to me. And then I just got lucky! I was at my local Goodwill store and there was a pair of headphones for 75 cents! I tested them at their tryout table and they worked! They were a sleek black and had the little skulls on them (trademarks, but this was unknown to me at the time). The were comfortable, folded nicely, and had a sound quality that was perfect by my standards. AND,... Did I mention that they were only 75 cents? As an added bonus, they fit perfectly into one of the pouches in my over-sized laptop bag. They were perfect! Alas,... all good things must come to an end. While away one day, my home was burgled and my laptop, bag, and all of my attachments were gone forever. I replaced the laptop, camera, and bag, but something was still missing. I went to the store and was quickly overwhelmed by the variety of choices available to me (none for 75 cents, unfortunately). Then I decided to just track down another pair of what I knew worked for me,... and I am using them, listening to The Pretenders, while I write this review. Now, I have already told you what I like about the Skullcandy Lowrider. Good sound, lightweight, neatly folds for storage,... etc, It has a microphone, but I have never used it, so I can tell you nothing about its sound quality, or ease of use. The only knock that I can make against it is that it is so comfortable, that you can easily forget that you are wearing them, which can be a bit of a problem if you are still plugged into your laptop and decide that you need to go to the bathroom. If you can't sort that one out, then you might want to explore a wireless option. Otherwise, you will probably find that the Skullcandy Lowrider is the perfect stereo headphone for you!
