Better than expected
For the price that I paid for these headers, I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised with them when I received them. The header flanges are a lot thicker than what I expected. They are good looking headers. I have not run the headers yet so I am not sure how well they will resist corrosion. Probably my only gripe is that the collector that bolts onto the header reduces the pipe down to 2-1/4" and not 2-1/2". That wasn't a big deal for me as I cut off the collector and welded on V-band clamps to eliminate collector gasket leaks.

Decent for the price but not perfect
1 of 1 found this helpful Overall I am happy with the insert but there are some things that I don't care for. The insert has screws that stick out the sides. When it is slid into the fireplace, these screws catch and make inserting more of a pain than it needs to be. There are clips that are supposed to be installed at the top of the insert to keep the top in the fireplace. There is no way to fasten these once the insert is installed. I didnt bother using them. The insert will stink for quite a while until the paint is cured. It is advertised as being thermostat controlled. I thought that meant a wall mounted thermostat. It is actually a dial with settings if 1 through 5 to control the heat. I would rather have a thermostat that I could set at say 75 degrees. My last gripe is that it doesnt really seem to put out much heat. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase but I wished it was a little better.

I used this to mount a spin on fuel filter for a project car that I am building. It worked great for me.
