I'm SOOOOO happy!
I had had a silk comforter before...but I had to give it up and I missed it. So on a whim, I went shopping and found this beauty. It is well made. I'm sleeping under a cloud, never too warm, never too cool. Just happy.. blissfully happy.

Just a fabulous book!
If you're into waffles, this is the book to get. You'll be surprised with the range of recipes, i.e. use your waffle iron to turn out chips for an appetizer. One of my personal favorites features shredded squash, that bakes when the batter is in the waffle iron! I own literally hundreds of cookbooks, but this one has a special place in my heart an on my shelf. Thanks, Dorie!

Linen as a revelatoon
I had never understood the fuss about linen sheets. And married to the cheapest man in the hemisphere, I never would. But one therapeutic divorce later, I found myself in need of sheets. So I decided to see what all the fuss is about... I'm over the moon about these sheets. Percale can be cold, flannel cloying...do even mention those polyester disasters. My sheets now envelope me at the end of the day, like a soft murmured " there, there..."and I drift off to sleep effortlessly, and wake refreshed. Is it all the sheets? Could it be the therapeutic divorce? Maybe. But I'm taking no chances...not going back.
