Carlton Lukather Band - The Paris Concert
I was really excited about getting this DVD because I purchased their Favored Nations CD release. Two of the best guitar players out there. The DVD has what you would expect from their playing - no disappointments there. Plus you have a few interviews to learn more about Larry and Steve. The filming is well done - this isn't something they threw together using home video cameras. The BIG DISAPPOINTMENT is this - Steve Lukather's mouth. He uses about every foul word he knows event to introduce his friend and mentor Larry Carlton. Their rendition of the Hendrix classic song, "Redhouse" would have been amazing, but again Lukather has to show his street language skills. This language isn't on their CD, so it didn't even enter my mind that it would be on the DVD. I have other Carlton videos and he is always the perfect gentleman. My plan at this point is to edit the concert with my film software and hack out the inbetween song chatter along with some of the Lukather interviews. I feel that those who list the DVD need to make it clear to buyers that there is bad language. I was watching it with my son and had to slam it off. I would have rated it excellent, but because of obscene language and the need to make an edited version - I'll call it good.

The Nikon D7100 Remains a Great Camera in 2020
Even though this is a 2013 Nikon model, it is still one of the most stellar DX DSLR cameras to buy. I had recently purchased a new Nikon mirrorless camera and gave my 6 year old D7100 to my son, thinking I won't need it. I found out I still needed and WANTED a DSLR. Countless reviews rave about the quality of the D7100 and I know from years of experience, it is high quality and very dependable, ever after countless thousands of shots. I would take an average of 350 to 500 shots with every photo hike I'd take. The D7100 I just purchased only had a shutter count of 4300, so it was like having a brand new Nikon. Go to You Tube and watch videos of why the D7100 is still a great camera for 2020. I believe I'll be using my recent purchase for 10 years and more. My son still has the D50 he bought in 2006 and it works great.

Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR Lens for Nikon DSLR Cameras

Order one and don't look back!
This lens exceeded my expectations. It works well with my Nikon D7100 and my Z 50 with the FTZ adapter. The images are sharp and the color is pure Nikon. To me it is just as durable as the 50-250mm Z lens I have. The extra reach of the 70-300mm makes more of a difference than many might think.
