Simple but does a nice job
3 of 3 found this helpful A large part of cooking is preparing the food. Cutting things to the same size allows them to cook evenly so everything is done at the same time. This is why I find a mandoline so useful. Even though I have a more elaborate slicer this Daiken gets more use. It works well for straight forward cutting and not having to mess with different blades makes it much easier to clean. For anybody who does a moderate amount of cooking I would recommend getting this slicer.
ps Just watch your fingers it is a sharp knife.

Great product to have
3 of 4 found this helpful For a camera of its type it is great. Simple to use and always have with me. I have another camera with lots of manual overide but it is too bulky to carry around. Maybe more post work but at least I have the picture. Also I could not pass up the value.
