Not quite the gargoyles you see on cathedrals but a more practical interpretation. Much lighter than stone, of course and easier to deal with.
I was looking for two ststues to replace planters at the foot of my house steps. Large concrete statues were difficukt to obtain and too heavy for an 87-year-old to deal with. I found these on eBay and they are the perfect choice. I made the upper pedestals from up-turned plastic rubbish bins, sealed them with UV protector and painted them to match the small pedestals on which the Gargoyles squat.

Seen it before so that is why I bought it.
