Good to explore ethics and reflexive thinking
This book allows to explore questions about how do people feel and what happens to relationships when people withhold resources. Our son loves this book. Adults can benefit from reflecting on some of the issues raised in the book.

Overly didactic
I was hoping this book would allow space for ethics discussion (eg how do people feel about a being talked over?), but the protagonist was dealt with in reactionary way (eg time outs, exclusions). There are better books(eg The invisible boy, This is our house)
