Ace 400 is a great value!
2 of 4 found this helpful I tested this on a freshly buried (one of the toughest to detect) US clad quarter at 6 inches. It beat a Garrett AT Pro, a Bounty Hunter Land Star, a Bounty Hunter Big Bud Pro and a Compass Coin Scanner Pro! Produced high tone audio and good target ID about 2" deeper than the other detectors. Really impressive. This was with sensitivity set at 2 bars from full. Wow! Note that I test for accurate audio/visual target ID. That I feel is the true test for a detector. Lots of detectors will produce a signal on deeper metal. But you'll be digging blind. Considering the conditions and the machines I tested it against. I think the Ace 400 is a VERY good detector.
