String Driven Thing
What a breath of fresh air!...and over a third of a century old...classic innovative late 60's/early 70's creativity. A friend tried to get me into it in 1975...better late than never. I feel for the younger set today making due with dopey drum machining & keyboard noodling just because it's new; especially now in rock & roll, if it's new, it's suspect, if it's old, it's trusted.

Did someone say Beatles box?overall
..you've got the British mono box, which is great, but can seem a bit too 'clean` .. then there's the U.S. box, with great reverb versions, although most songs are out of synch, as far as their recording dates go .. best overall cuts? The Japanese box .. unique compilations, slick production .. highly recommended .. perfect for someone who just wants to dive into the Beatles without getting too fanatical ..
