Inexpensive Sprint Phone w/ Cons & Some Pros!
2 of 5 found this helpful I purchased this phone in June 2006 for a teenager (to replace a stolen phone). Sometimes, it is cheaper to buy a used phone on eBay than to pay for the replacement insurance!
Here are the pros of this phone:
1. Has fast, highly accurate voice dialing
2. Good variety of ringtones
3. Has a great speakerphone
4. Unlike other phones (even the more expensive models), it surprisingly survived exposure to water (water-resistant)
Here are the cons:
1. Difficult to use
2. No voice mail key... must call your phone number for vm
3. Receiving text messages is easy, but unable to send... difficult to use!
4. Size of phone is very large and heavy in comparison to newer phones
5. Limited options
I would rate this phone from average to below average. Since I could only choose one category here, I rated it below average, but that would depend on your comparison. The newer phones have so many features that this one pales in comparison. It is acceptible for the purpose listed above.

Feature rich, great concept, but awkward/ Sprint probs.
8 of 15 found this helpful Sprint is going through a lot of changes since they have merged with Nextel, so I don't highly recommend the service right now. However, I have had every service (Verizon, Cingular, T-Mobile) and now Sprint. Verizon and Cingular have the worst customer service. This phone is a great concept and is feature rich. It is a good price considering all the features. But, it is a bit awkward to hold; the flip phones are more comfortable. I have actually dropped this phone several times because of its awkwardness. I haven't been able to get the blue tooth headset to work (sold separately) and that was one of the main reasons I purchased this phone. There is a different phone on my account that has an antenna and it gets better reception. This phone needs some improvements and I do not recommend it.
