Leupold, you can spend more, but won't get a better product for the money..
I purchased this Item for my 5 year old Grand daughter, I'm a hunter and believe in Leupold Products as one of the best, quality Products in the hunting world. I have several Leupold Scopes on many of my Rifles, Muzzleloaders and one on my Thompson Center Contender Pistol. I also own this same product Leupold 10X25 Conpact Binoculars for bow hunting. Great Product..

One pin, One Shot!
This TRUGLO item is a great product. I'm 61 yrs old and my eye site isn't that good anymore, but with the lighted center dot and the adjustment of the brightness is awesome. I'm considering adding a 2X Lens or maybe 4X Lens. I'm shooting a 2001 Mathews Ultra-2 which I've never takes a animal with, and hoping to in Michigan this year. I went from a TRUGLO 4 pin to this single pin hoping it helps me. Good Luck on your hunting adventures.. The Great Outdoors is calling my name!!
