Overpriced toy
2 of 2 found this helpful After the initial charging period, I assembled the handle and unit, it seemed well made enough. I powered it up and was immediately disappointed. The buffer is very noisy and sounds like grinding plastic and a motor that is on it's last legs. Attempting to use the buffer on the floor only made the noises worse. I have no idea if it was just defective out of the box, or it's just that cheaply made inside and that all this noise is normal for this unit.
This buffer is very light-weight, good maybe mostly for dusting, not enough power for any real work. It is not worth 50 plus dollars, more like half of that. I had considered moving up to the Ewbank EW190, but given this example of their product, I think I will just find something else.
