Klok Werks for Sport Glide
1 of 1 found this helpful Windscreens efficacy is very personal, so I thought I'd be as thorough as possible.
APPEARANCE: This screen looks good and is much improved over the stock piece. Dark smoke looks nice on the black bike, and the smaller size keeps the minimalist look of the Sport Glide as it doesn't give the barn door appearance of a "real touring bike."
PERFORMANCE: It is not whisper quiet 100% behind the screen, but buffeting is well controlled up to 50-60 mph and minimal at interstate speeds for me (5'8" and I wear a full face helmet). I can keep my visor up comfortable to 45-50mph. Air still reaches the helmet vents to assist with cooling. The screen mounts solidly and shakes minimally while at speed.
MY VERDICT: This is a good choice for folks that want to keep the minimal look of the smaller fairing on the Sport Glide. Buy it if you don't spend hours on the interstate, but want better overall wind protection. If you don't expect Electra-Glide or Gold Wing smooth and just want protection from the wind this is a good choice.
