Coming to Grips with Good Wood Grips
If you own a Hipoint C9, C380, or any of their variants, you’ll know that the stock grips leave much to be desired. Both in visual and physical aspects, these woods grips are well made, thick enough to maintain their rigidity but thin enough that you aren't increasing the overall width of the, already brick-like, hand grip. When you first receive these grips, its immediately assumed that they’ll be cheap and chintzy due to their thin construction and plastic bag packaging. Do not submit to these feelings. After installation, the grips will fit up just right, and add a touch of sophistication to the black drab finish. Overall, wonderful product to spice up the dark texture of my C9, the contrast is something personalizing about an already impersonal piece. My only qualms with the grips are the finish. Now this isn’t to say they’re poorly hydrodipped, it has to do with my naturally clammy hands. The grips are minutely textured relative to the wood, which is good for those with dry hands. I would be completely satisfied if they had some sort of dithering pattern to make them easier to hold, but that’s something I’ve come to ‘grips’ with.

The TI-89 Titanium is a calculator released in the summer of 2014. Fast, reliable, and able to make quick 'accurate' mistakes. I personally have had 3 of these calculators (1 stolen, 2 as replacements) and they are the most robust crutches I've laid my hands on. Able to carry you through every math, science, engineering, and (if your classes allow it) programming course imaginable. I definitely recommend finding or buying EEPro to supplement this calculator or familiarize yourself with loading (and executing) programs on the calculator in order to get the most for your money and time. TL;DR This calculator is worth the money if you buy it used, don't buy it new unless you have money to burn, Texas Instruments offers all of their updates online.
