Marginaly quieter than a rock crusher

This machine is crazy noisy for what it does. I have always been impressed by Cuisinart products in the past until now. It's nosier than any power tool I have in my metal working shop.

May work well, EXCEPT !

The charger works literally on 150-250v AC, so standard American 115v will not operate this even though it is shipped from an American address. The unit I received has a two prong ungrounded plug end and would have to be modified to operate on 220v AC. Considering there is NO country in the world that uses 150-250v AC two prong plug, I am not sure what the thinking is here.
